Why an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship means working alongside experienced staff, gaining job-specific skills, earning a wage and getting qualified at the same time, study towards a certificated qualification at our training centre with qualified instructors on Instructor led, industry recognised courses.

Fully Funded Programmes

BYITC specialise in the IT sector and employ only expert Instructors. Currently we offer programmes in:

Systems and Networking (IT Operations)

Software Development (Programming, Web, Open Source Technologies and Databases)

Devops (combination of Software Development and IT Operations).

In addition we can also support Digital Marketing through Search Engine Optimisation and Social Media.

Why IT?

Currently there is a reported shortage of 11,000 professionals with digital skills, particularly in relation to computer coding training. Most employment sectors have IT as a core business element which means that you could be installing new networks for small businesses, all the way up to preventing cyber attacks for a Government agency.
There are plenty of great opportunities to work in the IT sector and getting the experience and qualifications early can lead to a long lasting career in IT.

BYITC are now taking applications for IT Apprenticeships from prospective candidates:

  • not in full-time education
  • Can demonstrate a genuine interest in IT
